We are an ever growing group of enthusiastic players who meet weekly during term time on Tuesday mornings and who play for enjoyment. We play music from the medieval, renaissance and baroque periods ( up to 1750 ) . We are wide ranging in our abilities and in the instruments that we play. For example , we have all sizes of recorders, cornemuse, early drum, crumhorn, sackbut, oboe, curtle. New players are always welcome. We currently have no regular string players but would love some. We offer a supportive environment - less confident players are well supported. The ability to read music is essential. Music is provided , usually electronically in advance . Why not give us a try ?
