Upcoming Meetings

Monthly Meetings

Open to all members and potential new members.
Held at Lorton St Methodist Church Rooms on the second Monday of the month starting at 2pm.
Meetings are followed by tea and coffee and biscuits.
Admission is currently FREE.
Our next meeting is on 8 December:
It's that time of year again for a bit of festive fun in our Xmas Mingle & Jingle event. This time we have a local performer, Laura Bailey who is originally from Maryport, but now based in Cockermouth. Laura has been working hard this year to make her mark on the local music scene — sharing her love of classic songs and creating joyful community moments through music. For this special occasion, she’ll be performing a selection of her favourite Christmas songs in her signature piano and vocal style – all designed to get you singing along and feeling the Christmas spirit!
If that's not enough, it will be followed by minced pies, tea/coffee and a team quiz put together by Chairman Alan. We look forward to seeing a good turn-out so start exercising your singing voices now.
Doors will open at around 1.30, but as always help is welcome earlier to arrange chairs etc.

Coffee Mornings

Friendly Friday Coffee Mornings:

The next Coffee Morning will be on 23 January 2026 from 10am to 12pm at the Kirkgate Centre.

Open to all members and potential new members, so come along and find out what we are all about!,  a chat and a free cup of Tea or Coffee.

Following Coffee mornings are on 20 February & 20 March
