Thinking about joining Cockermouth U3A? 

Cockermouth U3A welcomes new members. To find out what we are like, look at the group list under the activities tab.  If you find that we don't bite then we offer the following types  of membership.

Our Membership year starts on the 1st October and membership is for 1 year.  Anybody joining in August or September is automatically a member for the following subscription year.  People are eligible to join in their Third Age (retired from full time employment).

Join August or September and your fees cover 2025/26 or in other words those are Free Months. 

Membership types and subscription rates (2025/26)

Full membership £10 per year

Family Membership(P) £20 per year (Both members will need to share the same address)

Member of another U3A £6 per year (Will need name of U3A and membership number) (This will give full membership of Cockermouth u3a)

Full Membership + Newsletters printed and delivered by post £17 per year

Family Membership + Newsletter/post  £27 per year

Other U3A + Newsletter/post £13 per year

And you can also subscribe to TAM (Third Age Matters) £4.00 surcharge

Those of you who are already Cockermouth U3A members simply follow the guidance once the renewal process has started in late September.
