There is an organisation called 'Skeptics in the Pub' which meets 'to examine extraordinary claims of all types' - it mentions the fields of history, psychology and philosophy. There was a group in Cockermouth recently so I am told. Is there enough interest to form such a group within u3a? As always, the key is someone to lead such a group which would involve no more than finding a venue/time and setting a topic for the first meeting. Please contact me if you are that person.
