Members are players of recorders and other instruments of the Renaissance period - Cornamusen, Crumhorn, Sackbutt, Psaltery. There are currently 3 violins and one 'cello masquerading as viols. We have a wide repertoire of music, largely from early to late renaissance and arranged for 4 to 8 parts. The skill level of our members varies from relative beginner (for whom specific parts can be written if necessary) to very competent. We find that, because of the nature of the music, this works well for everyone - and we have great fun.
